The amazing story is about a 4-months-old pup named Lana. She was rescued by her owner from the streets of Brazil. She was a stray dog, but her action proves that it doesn’t even matter a bit if a dog is a stray or belongs to some great breeds. Dogs are the best, no doubt! So, if you have ever brought a puppy home then you might have seen how scared they look. For the puppy, it’s an entirely new place and surrounding. So, you have to give 24 hours of attention to the dog. Lana was also looking a little scared when her owner first brought her inside the house. Lana would now live here for the rest of her life. But it wasn’t easy adjusting.
Not That Easily
First few days weren’t easy for Lana. She was feeling really out of the place. Though she felt safe around her owner then she kept searching for her previous street and known places inside the house. But soon, Lana adjusted in her new home and her new family. Things were going great then one day, the owner was taken aback by Lana’s action.

At a very young age, Lana learned the rules of the street. She has experienced the depths of the streets from a closer perspective. But Lana was lucky, she was rescued by the owner. She was given a better life and better surrounding than streets where dogs live on a waste that we throw out as a waste. Chilly nights and hungry stomach was now all in the past for Lana. Lana was one of the luckiest dogs that get rescued. But still, there are lots of other dogs who live on the streets or in the shelter. They also wait for the people like Lana’s owner to save them and give them a home they deserve. But not every dog gets a chance to live a life like Lana. Rescued Pups
In 2017, Lana and her siblings were rescued by a team of rescuers who saw these cute little creatures shivering in the cold night. They stopped that very moment and picked each of them and took them in the shelter where they were given a warm place to sleep. Lana’s life was about to get changed.

In the shelter, Lana and her siblings were treated. They were given a good warm bath. Soon, they were put up for the adoption. But not all dogs get adopted that easily. One day she was going through her Facebook feed when she stumbled upon a post where she saw Lana’s picture on it along which there was a little message and in bold letters, it was written: “UP FOR ADOPTION.” Suelen knew that Lana was the one.
Suelen’s Better Half
Suelen showed Lana’s picture to her husband. She kept looking at her husband until there was a yes. Her husband loved her wife and with that face, in front of her, there was no way he could have said a no. They contacted the shelter. Suelen and her husband reached the shelter, waiting for their turn to see Lana. One of the volunteers from the shelter took them to Lana who was waving her tail when she saw new faces in the shelter. Both Suelen and her husband were really moved by Lana’s act of kindness. The very first moment when Suelen saw Lana in the shelter she knew that she was the one she wanted to keep as a member of the family. The next morning when Suelen and her husband were heading off to work, they saw Lana still curled up in the blanket alongside the other dog. Lana has always been a very affectionate dog. But that morning, Suelen learned a very important lesson about life.
The Routine
Lana curled up all night in the blanket with the stray dog who used to lay on the other side became a routine. Suelen was worried about Lana. She was worried about Lana’s health. In an interview with The Dodo, Suelen said, ‘I thought, “How beautiful that she did that for her friend.” During the interview, Lana was so happy to see the interviewers that she couldn’t stop running. Waving her tail all around the house, the interviewers felt really happy to see her like that.

Lana taught her parents a very beautiful and long lost lesson about life. Although the stray dog on the other side of the fence was a bit timid and due to which the Schaumloeffel couldn’t get near him, still, they continued to leave the food and water for him. And at the end of the day, the dog had the blanket to keep him warm.

Though Suelen has been leaving food and water for the stray dog for a while now, still, the dog runs away from her every time she tries to approach him. Suelen hopes that one day, the homeless pooch might find a home of its own.

Lana visits the stray dog on a daily basis. Though the fence doesn’t allow them to meet each other still they stay together. Both of them waving their tail from each other’s side made her day.
