Woman Pregnant For More Than a Year Leaves The Doctors in Shock When She Gave Birth. 
 

 

 

 

The oldest fetus was recorded to be one of the weirdest cases in known human history, it couldn’t only shock the world but also overwhelmed the mother, and made her go through an odd experience as the only woman in the world to be pregnant for 375 days. 

 

We all know that most pregnancies last for about 280 days or 40weeks, but the common premature babies are delivered before 37weeks of the pregnancy and these are safely known by doctors.

The strange case of the perfectly healthy mother Beulah Hunter was the event that did shake up the doctors of Las Anglos, Although it happened in 1945, her situation is well-known today!

 

In the second month, Beulah Hunter became aware that she was pregnant. She did admit that one of the earliest indicators of her pregnancy was the absence of morning sickness until the second month. The pregnancy progressed quickly, and when she went for her regular examinations, everything appeared to be in order and the womb appeared to be growing at a typical rate.

Beulah was 25years old with no health problems and her pregnancy of nearly 100days longer than the average gestational period had no logic back then. 

 

According to TIME Magazine, Hunter’s doctor Daniel Beltz who assisted her in giving birth presented evidence of how realistic the pregnancy was; He made public the pregnancy test from a lab that was completed on March 24 confirmed that the young woman's menstrual cycle had ended on February 10 in support of the doctor's assertion. Additionally, he saved the majority of the medical reports that supported the record.

 

 

Could anyone have believed her experience without Dr.Daniel’s proof? 

 

 

As stated by the doctor, in the first three months the mother-to-be experienced a normal pregnancy and it was followed by a period where she didn’t feel any change in her pregnancy, she even kept checking and wondering whether she was still pregnant and not until the sixth month that she first started sensing something new. it was the first time she had felt the movement of her unborn baby. In addition, the child's heart rate could only be discovered in September 1944, not in July, as it would have been expected during a typically scheduled pregnancy.

 

She was still pregnant for three extra months and 10 days until she finally gave birth on February, 21 1945 to the baby Penny Diana who weighed 3.14 Kg.

well, we believe it is strange for a baby who took more than a year to be born weight that low; but despite that and the medical challenges, the daughter was healthy and appeared to be a full-term normal baby.

 

 

This extraordinary pregnancy was quite the event that nobody would believe, so doctors and the public criticized and accused Beulah Hunter and Dr.Daniel Biltz to mislead what the pregnancy really was. 

Said Dr. Beltz: "Some of the doctors . . . laugh. But I just show them the record." To suggestions that Mrs. Hunter may have had a miscarriage and second pregnancy, he replied: "Quite impossible."
