WOMAN MAKES AN UNBELIEVABLE DISCOVERY INSIDE AN ABANDONED SUITCASE THAT SHE FOUND ON A RAILWAY TRACK

 

Visualize that you come across an abandoned bag on a secluded road. What will you do? Step back or would feel like investigating it? Well, let’s be real, for some obvious reasons, we would not even like to go near that bag. Who knows what’s there in it, right? There is the fear of the unknown which would be ruling us and anyone would want to cross that bag and leave that sight.

However, a woman from England took a different step. She decided to look inside the unattended bag. Little did she know that your curiosity can at times land you into the most unwanted place. Probably even she would have not thought that her curious nature would cost her something like this. What did she find in the bag and what happened later will blow your mind.

Her heart was beating fast, she took the risk of unzipping the bag, but wasn’t prepared for what she found inside it. She was baffled. She was scared. She stood there still. Probably she should have never taken the risk of unzipping the bag. But it was too late to regret. Now what?

Petrified

What began as a usual day for her, turned into the most unexpected one. She was frightened and had all the reasons to be. While no one ever takes the risk of unfolding the unknown she did it and was clueless. She stood there on the empty road, petrified and clueless.

The woman we are talking about is a resident of England. She was a woman in her late twenties. She had a daily routine to follow. The very first thing she would do was to go on a morning walk along the railway line and would even run for miles. However, that particular day, things were a little different.

Jog With Paws

She would often jog along with her dogs. And that day too she went with her dogs. They would run for miles together and follow each other. They kick start their day like that. However, later, she must have regretted jogging along with them. Why?

Go There

Daily they would go through the same track but that day they decided to go a little closer to the railway track. As the track was near the countryside a lot of people would walk past it. But none ever decided to go near as it wasn’t the right place to walk along. Lately, even she felt that she shouldn’t have gone that close to them.

Leading Her

As the new route was a little unexplored, the woman decided to let her dogs take the lead that day and direct her the route. They all went close to the railway track and started to run after one another. But soon only they took her to place she didn’t really enjoy going to.

Strangest One

Until a moment the dogs were running in the expected direction, but suddenly they went onto the railway track and began running. The woman was following them unaware of what was waiting for her. The dogs took her to a strange thing.

An Abandoned Suitcase

Her dogs took her to an abandoned suitcase lying in the middle of the railway line. She was not prepared to come across something like this. Her dogs would bark aloud at that bag and she didn’t know what to do. She was completely confused while her thoughts were serving up as a warning.

Don’t

Before even touching that bag, many of her mother’s words crossed her head. The woman recalled what all her mother would often say since childhood to her. “Never ever touch an abandoned or unattended bag like that”. Such pieces are often dangerous as no one knows what could be lying there inside it. But her dogs’ continuous barking made her think twice.

A Warning

Not only do our mothers but other officials, police officers often warn us to not go too close to abandoned bags like that. Rather everyone asks us to inform the cops and take proper safety measures before taking the matters into our own hands. Just when all these thoughts were bothering the woman, her dogs barked again and she did what she shouldn’t have.

Looking Closer

While her initial thoughts compelled her not to look at the bag, but her dogs’ bark left her with no other choice but to have a closer look at it. The bag seemed to be a brand new suitcase. It wasn’t torn, nor was it covered in mud. Probably someone might have left it over there recently. She decided to inspect it further.

Tensed

The woman was scared, still, she decides to unzip the bag. She with a pounding heart touches the zip of the bag and decides to unzip it and at the same moment, she heard some beeping sounds from inside it. She immediately backs off. What was there in the bag?

Some Noises

She was taken aback at the moment. Those strange noises frightened her. And all sort of weird thoughts came to her. Suddenly her eagerness and the urge to unzip the bag were gone and she held back along with her dogs. She decided to leave the spot and go back home, but her dogs did not move.

Something Dangerous

Those unknown sounds freaked the woman. She was anticipating a bomb or a landmine and anything similar in the bag. Well, if anyone would have been in her place that is exactly what they too would be hoping to find in that bag. And then she let out a loud cry, that’s when she heard something.

Some Living Being

The strange sounds seemed like muffled cries, you know like a human cry. The woman was unsure. She had her head revolving and dreaded the hidden. As the cries became evident she was certain that there is some living being inside. But who was he or she or it?

Maybe Captive

The woman had all weird thoughts coming to her after she heard those noises. She realized that maybe someone has abducted the living being and has left them to rot here in the suitcase. All these thoughts were haunting. But she wanted to help whosoever was inside. She gathers her courage to unzip the bag again.

Look Around

The woman looked around to check if by chance anyone was watching her or keeping an eye at the suitcase. But when she found none, she courageously took a step forward and unzipped the bag. And what she found inside was completely unexpected, unbelievable…

 Unzipped

She finally unzipped the bag to see what was lying inside and making such sounds. She couldn’t believe her eyes and all she said was, “they must have sensed this in here. They were barking at this”. She knew she immediately needs to help them.

Kitties

Inside the abandoned suitcase were kitties. And not just one or two, rather there were eight little kittens. It was them who were making those noises. Someone had locked the kitties into this bag and had left this bag in the middle of a railway track. The woman had her heart out for these tiny creatures.

Pity Them

The woman immediately sympathized with these cats. She felt disgusted about the person who packed them in a bag without any air holes. It was totally inhuman of the person who did something like that. The cats were dehydrated and suffocated.

Call For Help

The woman knew that she could not leave the cats like that over the railway track. She needs to take them to a safe place. So instead of carrying them all by herself, she contacted the local animal shelter and asked for their immediate help.

At Rescue

The animal shelter help arrived near the railway track. Even they were shocked to find the cats in the middle of such a dangerous path. The cats were really lucky that no train went by that track in the hours they were there. Then carefully picks up the suitcase ensuring no harm comes to the kittens and took them to a Vet at the animal shelter.

Poor Condition

The Vet at the animal shelter was taken aback to see such tiny creatures in a poor state like that. She examined those eight kitties and realized all of them were breathing heavily and needed some fresh air. Their pulse needed to be stabilized.

Fragile Beings

Just by the appearance of the kittens, the junior Vet could tell that they were frail. Their bones were clearly visible. It all meant that they were severely malnourished. Probably they have not eaten anything in the last 24 hours. However, there was something needing even extra care.

Eye Health

The senior vet at Cats Protection’s Hornchurch and District Branch told the woman that there were some major issues too with these kittens. The woman was scared hearing these words. However, the vet continued and said: “Six of them had obvious cases of eye infection and although the others seem okay for now, we will need to closely monitor them.”

Something Strange

While the vets were sure that they would be able to take care of these cats and nourish them, they even came to a very strange conclusion. Something very vague to be accepted. However, they were certain about it and said…

Purposely

They said that someone had purposely left the kittens over there on that railway track so that someone could find them. But how were they so sure about this was the only question that bothered the woman. Why would someone leave such tiny creatures breathless in a bag?

A Plan

Near that railway line resided a well known veterinary nurse. And the animal shelter staff said, “They seem to have intended the kittens to be found as the suitcase had been left near the home of the veterinary nurse, who is well known locally,”. However, they also say, “But with kittens, this young and vulnerable, the outcome could have been awful.”

Thankful

The people at the animal shelter were grateful to the woman who decided to look inside an abandoned bag and saved the lives of the kittens. While most of us would never wish to go near an unattended bag she did it and helped the tiny creatures. It won’t be wrong to say that she gave them life.

Taking Care

The woman left the kittens at the animal shelter. The staff and the vets took proper care of them. As the kittens were underweight and malnourished, they fed them with various liquids and needed medical solutions. They even injected some doses of multivitamins in them and hoped for their progress.

Improving Health

The kittens were kept under constant observation and soon began to show improvement. They gained weight and were out of their malnourished condition. Later on, they were fed milk as per the instructions of the vet. The animal shelter also informed the woman about the same and she was delighted to hear so.

Showing Interest

Many people who visited the animal shelter back then were keen to adopt these cute creatures. While a few of them have been adopted, the remaining ones who were very tiny are still kept at the shelter and not offered for adoption until they grow old.

 Pleading

With this case, the animal shelter started a new pleading. They requested the people who have to abandon the pets due to unavoidable circumstances to leave their pets in animal shelters and not in such deadly places. Especially kittens and pups who are very tiny to be on their own.

 Hero

On their social media profile, the animal shelter made a special mention about the woman who found these kittens. The woman to-date comes to visit these bundles of joy. Moreover, she was more thankful to her dogs who could sense these kittens in that bag.

Lucky

Luckily, these kittens were gradually adopted. They have a place to call home now. Not only this but also they need not have to fear being abandoned again as they have their momma and pappa by their side now.
