COUPLE STRUGGLING TO MAKE THEIR DREAM WEDDING A REALITY IS SURPRISED WHEN A STRANGER SHOWS UP AT THE CEREMONY

 

We have often heard how long of a list a woman makes for her Wedding day. She starts to dream about it since the very day she grabs the understanding of a relationship that demands commitment for a lifetime. But this is not a typical story, as here the groom too had planned his wedding. Even he had certain dreams about his big day.

But as they say, love is never enough for a relationship to sustain. And similarly, Samantha Carisch and her fiance Taylor Sinclair soon realized that making it down the aisle is no cakewalk. It is full of ups and downs. While everything seems to go just as they wanted to be, a guest at the wedding turned it into the day they could never get over from.

Oh No!

She was taken aback. She had never expected or dreamt that a guest like this would appear on her wedding day. Her mouth was left wide open and she stood still. It was all a fairytale event, just perfect, the way she wanted. But what happened after this guest arrived changed it all.

Imperfect In Perfect

The venue was perfectly decorated. It was all white with orchids. The bride and her groom’s attire beautifully tailored. With equally gorgeous bridesmaid on her side, she walked the aisle to the love of her life. They were dancing hand in hand, lost in each other eyes after being announced as a couple. But just then they were made to come back to reality when the music stops in the middle and the guest appeared.

Boom

Samantha was over the moon. Her happiness had no boundaries. And why not? She was tying the knot with the man of her dreams, to someone she loved with all her heart. However, little did she know that no fairytale is ever complete until the witch or the wizard are defeated.

Not Easy

Samantha was just looking forward to her wedding day when she would legally be the wife of her longtime boyfriend, Taylor. He went on his knees to propose to the woman who’ll be ruling his heart for all his life. Samantha was so happy that out of her excitement and happiness she couldn’t even say a “yes”. Yet, this wasn’t all. It was a bumpy ride and things were yet to unravel.

Die-Hard Fan

Samantha enjoyed watching a game of baseball. She could often be located at the stands cheering for one or the other player. But, she had never expected that while cheering up for many, she would end up catching the attention of one player in all. And that’s none other than Taylor Sinclair.

Girl In Stands

Taylor would have never noticed Samantha had she not been present as the sole woman at the stands while he played the minor leagues. Being the only and the regular woman follower of all baseball matches, she started to cheer for Taylor just for fun sake not knowing what was about to come.

Excited

One day after the match, Taylor approached Samantha and asked for her number. And without any second thoughts, she readily obliged. After all, how could any woman on the planet deny such a request? Their love story started back from then and experienced a lot of highs and lows in the way along.

Travel Plans

Their relationship wasn’t even formed yet, and Taylor told Samantha that life as a baseball player is not that usual especially when playing for the country. He would have to travel with his team for tournaments. They barely knew each other then and before leaving for another country, the duo managed to meet just twice. However, something not-so-expected happened.

Long Distance

Samantha and Taylor were somehow still firm on making this relationship work. They wanted to know one another despite the time lags or long distance amongst them. But as they say, when its love its just that. They both agreed to enter into a long distance relationship. Luckily the technology was so vast that it helped them stay closer.

Four Years

For four years, they stayed in touch via text messages, video calls, Skype and what not. And finally, it was the time when Taylor decided to retire from his baseball career and return to California forever. He planned to act as a medical consultant for a sportsperson back in town. However, he had one more thing on his mind that will probably leave Samantha stunned.

Mexico Diaries

Taylor and Samantha’s fourth anniversary was around the corner when Taylor was back to town. So he planned a holiday with Samantha to Mexico. He had already planned to propose her for a lifetime commitment, the only thing left was to execute the plan. And what happened next was just beautiful.

The Ring

Samantha had never been this happy before. Their vacation was the one which made their relationship stronger. He proposed to her there and there were no scopes of him being rejected. Samantha told everything to her mom by showing her the ring she had been flaunting on her ring finger. And there begins the preparation of a grand event- but there’s always the fear of unknown.

Good And Bad

Good and Bad are the two sides of the same coin. And as Samantha told her mother the exciting news about her getting married, Samantha was welcomed with bad news as well. Her mother’s health wasn’t good. She was a patient of  Multiple Sclerosis and her condition seem to worsen…

Not In Cancun

Samantha and Taylor wanted to tie the knot in Cancun itself where they proposed to each other. But after looking at Samantha’s mother’s health the duo thought to plan their wedding in California itself. Just when the preparations were going on their best, in the days to come their happiness took a halt with a crushing realization.

Planning For A Month

Taylor and Samantha were busy searching for different venues where they could think of setting up the aisle for their wedding. It was nearly a month that they took to finalize a venue and when they thought it was time to kick up other stuff now, the reality strikes them hard. Even the best plans can be a flop when life decides to play its part.

The Call

One night suddenly Samantha’s mother called her up and told her that she was in immense pain. She could barely talk. Samantha knew her mom’s condition was serious and she rushed her to the hospital. The doctors performed various tests on her and the reports were awaited.

Cancer

As the reports furnished, it looked as if her mother’s Colon Cancer had returned. It was on stage IV and things were just slipping from their hands. Samantha had to put her wedding preparations on a break. Her mother needed her the most this time. And Samantha too could not imagine her wedding without her mother. This wasn’t all though…

Distant Again

Samantha shifted with her mom so that she could take care of her. This meant that Samantha could meet Taylor only over the weekend, and the couple was once again physically distant. Life was getting tough and was even testing the duo’s patience.  But, then Samantha took a decision which the time demanded.

Ditch The Dream

After returning to California, Samantha had very little hope that she and her beau will be able to tie the knot. As much as she wanted her mother, she wanted Taylor as well.  She then decides that instead of wasting the time in planning out the wedding of her dreams, she should get married in the City Hall itself. Yet, again destiny meddled with her plans.

The Knot Wedding Competition

While looking for City Hall, Samantha came across an advertisement from The Knot-Wedding Competition. The competition promised arranging a wedding according to the choice of the American public and it was the best option under the circumstances that Samantha and Taylor were. Would this work?

Giving In To The Universe

Taylor and Samantha decided to let fate plan their wedding. They completely gave up on their ideas of how their wedding should be. It is something no couple would ever let easily go but with circumstances, they had to do so. With this Samantha had all her time to look after her mother.

In The Competition

Taylor and Samantha made it to the finals of the competition. They along with their friends and family shared their love story. They were this time quite lucky this time as everyone appreciated their story and they nailed it. It was now, The Knot-planning their entire dream wedding at their own cost.

June 4, 2015

After winning the competition, Taylor and Samantha had not much to do on their own. The wedding was finalized for June 4, 2015, and the venue was Chateau St. Jean. All the arrangements were made after the people cast their vote for various options.

Tech Wedding

Taylor and Samantha were the calmest ones during their courtship. They had very few decisions to take. However, they had told their preferences about certain things to the organizers. Above this, their wedding was a tech wedding sponsored by the website Mashable.

Fitbits

With Technology at hand, the couple had Fitbit devices installed. With this device, as they walked down together, they could count each other’s heartbeats and recollect how fast was it beating.  Moreover, the drones captured every moment and could even share it with the people who were not able to make it to the wedding.

Blessing From Her Mom

Sadly, Samantha’s mother couldn’t make to her wedding, but luckily with tech wedding, she could capture every moment. Samantha was really sad that she could not have her mother by her side while walking the aisle. Her mother was hospitalized just before the wedding day, but the woman did not let her daughter change her wedding plans yet again. And there was still a surprise for her.

Bouquet’s View

A GoPro was put in Samantha’s bouquet which helped her mother have the first-hand live view of her daughter’s wedding. And along with her a lot many people who voted for this couple’s wedding arrangement too were able to have a glimpse of their special day.

Dancing To Beats

As the couple finally made it to the altar, their racing heartbeats calmed. They were living the moment they had been waiting for the last four years. And it was time to cherish their first dance as the husband and the wife. Now they were just waiting for the song that they have chosen for their dance to play. But even this did not go as planned.

That Song

Samantha and Taylor had chosen the song, “Love You Like That” by Canaan Smith. The duo kept aside all their requirements but this was the only one they made a special mention about.  They wanted to just get lost in each other’s eye and enjoy every single lyric of the song. However, there was again a disturbance.

Stopped In Between

The couple had just held each other in their arms and made their first move. After a few seconds of music playing, the band suddenly stopped the music in between. They said it would be even better if this song is sung by a special guest himself. And this guest was none other than…

Oh My God

One of the band members then said, “one of your favorite songs is going to be sung by Canaan Smith himself”. The couple couldn’t believe what they just heard. The song they wanted to dance to was actually been sung Live with the artist himself. Cannan Smith, was there to grace this special occasion of the couple. The Knot-Wedding Competition gave this bride and groom the wedding they always wanted.
