Farmer finds an unidentified object out of a sci-fi movie!

 Finding  strange objects on their properties is something farmers are quite used to. After all, fences are rarely enough to keep wildlife and ruffians out. However, farmer Jose Nievas made a very unusual finding on his property. 

He had never seen anything like it. The finding was so bizarre it became the talk of the town, and soon even brought the police to his front door! 

Oddly enough, thousands of miles away, a different farmer made a similar discovery  on his farm. Was there a way these two objects could be connected? The farmers were about to find out..

It all happened on a clear Christmas morning back in 2015. Jose was walking his dogs  along the perimeter of his land, as custom. However, this time, he made quite the discovery. He noticed something odd at a hidden corner.. From first glance, the object seemed as though a huge stone that suddenly appeared on his farm. A large, rounded, stone-like object, one Nievas had never seen in his life, stuck out from the bank of the stream. 

However,  as Nievas got closer, he realized that it was far from being a random giant stone. The object was impossible to identify, the only thing the farmer was sure of was that it definitely wasn’t a stone. It was mostly covered in mud, making the identification even harder.

Determined to solve the mystery, Nievas tried to remove the  mud to receive a better look at his mysterious discovery. The task proved to be more tedious than he thought, after he realized that it was not possible for him to clean it with his bare hands, he finally decided to go back home and ask for help.

 

 Not only was the object hard to clean as some of the dirt was just hard to clean off, it had to be dislodged to be completely cleaned. Jose decided to call his wife, Rita, for help. She would also help him identify the mystery lying on his farm. Curious as well, Rita gladly agreed to lend him a hand. Neither could know that they were about to make the discovery of a lifetime…

 

 Nievas came up with a theory about his mysterious discovery, one that sounded so crazy he worried people would stone him if he was to say it out loud.  He decided to tell his wife about his wild theory and see how she’d react first.

“My husband went out, and when he came back, he said, ‘Hey, I just found an egg that looks like it came from a dinosaur,” Rita recalled. “We all laughed because we thought it was a joke.” Even though his theory seemed to be a joke, it wasn’t that far from reality. When his wife finally saw the object by herself, she understood where his theory was coming from and even agreed on it as it made the most sense about what was in front of her.

 

Nievas and his wife started working on cleaning the object the moment they arrived at the stream. There was so much to clean and it had to be done carefully not to damage anything. Lucky for them, they’ve had the necessary tools, perks of being farmers!

As the mud slowly slid away, revealing more and more of the object, Nieves's theory only became more plausible. Even if it weren’t a dinosaur egg, it was undoubtedly a fossil of some kind.

 The couple knew that they were standing in front of an important historical artifact, and as they dug around the object more, they  realized that the object  was far too big to be a dinosaur’s egg…
